Competition Format:

The State Games of America Ninja Challenge is a Ninja Warrior style obstacle competition with obstacles similar to the show including a buzzer to hit if you should defeat the course. Participants won’t know exactly what the course will be until the day of the event. Just like the athletes on the show!

The course is designed by American Ninja Warrior veteran athletes and the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association for the best ninja experience possible.

Length of course will be 10 or more obstacles.

Once an obstacle has been attempted and failed, one additional attempt may be taken on the failed obstacle. This “retry” may only be used once during an athlete’s course run and must be used after the first failed obstacle.

No chalk may be used on the course at any time.

Upon completion of the course, athlete must immediately depart course area in preparation for next athlete.

One person may be allowed on the sideline of the competitor while he/she is running the course, but in no way assisting the competitor or the competitor risks disqualification.

Competitors may not warm-up on the course on competition day, nor touch the course in any way or can risk disqualification.

The course will be available to try again once the competitor’s session has concluded if there is extra time between sessions.

Individual: $60
Team: $90 per team

(members get 10% off)
Spectator fees are $10 each

You must be 6 or older to compete in UNAA. Age is determined on how old the person is on August 1, 2018.

Any athlete in the Age group classes may move up to the next age group if they so choose. Once they have moved up to that class, they must remain in that class for the duration of the year. Each course is age appropriate and if an athlete competes up – no accommodations will be made for height adjustments.

UNAA membership is NOT required to compete in State Games or State Games of America. By signing the Waiver this allows you to compete at State Games and State Games of America Ninja Challenge, Camp and Play and Train.

State Games of America is an official qualifier for Ninja OCR World Championships held in Moscow, Russia. The Winner of the Pro Men’s and Pro Women’s class each qualify to represent TEAM USA. The 2nd and 3rd place Pro Men and Pro Women will qualify as Alternates for TEAM USA.

UNAA is the Official Ninja league of USAOCR and World OCR /FISO, which are the governing bodies for obstacle sports for meeting the requirements for the Olympics.

2019 State Games of America bronze, silver and gold medals will be given in each category/division.
