How To Use Your Social Distancing Time To Get To Know Yourself

Without the noise of the outer world we can use the quiet time to get to know our true selves…

our authentic selves…

the part of us that people really want to meet….

 because when we are being authentic….

 we have magnetism, allure, radiance…

and when we truly know ourselves and accept all parts of ourselves, then we can truly be free.

Many of us now have this quiet time to reflect on who we truly are at our core….

What our hearts truly crave…

Our soul’s passion…

Our destiny….

We can take a step back to get to know ourselves again.

Who was that little girl?

Who was that little boy?

What did they dream?  

What did they want to create?

When you can sit quietly with yourself and remember who you truly are and accept all parts of you…

Your radiance increases…

Your passion inspires…

And when this social isolation is over…

You will be irresistibly magnetic!

It is a blessing that many of us can now have time and space to create our magic from within.

If you are wondering how do I quiet my mind?  How do I raise my vibration? How do I increase my radiance?

 Here are some ideas.

  1. Meditation

You can find meditations online or on YouTube for everything…including raising your vibration and calming your anxiety.

2. Music and Dancing

Sing and dance in your kitchen, your family room, your shower…even outside in the sunshine!

3. Journal

Get in touch with your heart and your passion by keeping a journal.  

4. Self-care and beauty rituals

Exercise, healthy nutritious foods, drink lots of water, saunas, salt scrubs and warm baths…

5. Treat yourself

What makes you happy?  Coffee made a certain way, an indulgent breakfast, new makeup, learning a new craft or relaxing with a puzzle…

6. Be grateful.  Share with those who have touched your life why you are grateful to have them in your life.

7. Live your life with no expectations.  We can’t control anything in life…all we can control is how we react to life.

When this social isolation is over, our inner work will foster better social connections and relationships going forward.  We will remember once again what is truly important to us and we will really be grateful to enjoy social activities outside of our homes again.  

Until that day we can keep in touch using our technology and internet connections.  Keep updated and in touch with Facetime and Zoom and social media.
