OPENING SUMMER 2024 IN CHARLESTON, SC!
GYM MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

February has arrived.  Are you still adhering to your New Year’s resolution to work out, join a gym, and lead a healthier life? Before you say, “Who has time for that?,” I have some stats for you. Hopefully, you are still going strong and growing strong, and getting your money’s worth out of your gym membership because statistics around people who work out are amazing. You deserve to be amazing too! If you are in desperate need of an accountability coach, let me give you some free tips on what using your gym membership can do for you when you actually show up at the gym and do the work.

  • Exercise Boosts Brainpower.

Exercise increases serotonin in the brain which, helps improve depression and mental clarity. This helps you accomplish more at work and at home.

  • Exercise Melts Away Stress.

If you put in your time at the gym, (30 minutes will suffice), that exercise helps elevate your mood and decrease stress levels. Join a group HIIT, (High-Intensity Interval Training), class or Zumba class, and that hour workout will help you return home happier and less irritable. It is a win-win for everyone.

  • Exercise Boosts Energy Levels.

Working out releases endorphins into your bloodstream, which improves your energy levels.

  • Exercise Improves your Strength and Stamina.

Regular exercise can help maintain muscle mass, slow bone loss, and increase the strength of joints. Putting time in at the gym helps ward off signs of aging like the little aches and pains that creep into your life. If you don’t keep your body maintained through physical activity and stretching, daily tasks at work and around the house can become more burdensome as you grow older.

  • Exercise helps ward off disease.

All you need is 30 minutes of physical activity per day to keep disease at bay. It is scientifically proven that regular exercise improves blood pressure, sugar levels, and cholesterol levels, which lessen the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes.

  • Exercise builds relationships and improves relationships.

Most people stick to a regular gym date if they have a friend meeting them there. Someone making us accountable is an excellent way to stick with a workout regimen. Also, spending time together builds relationships and cultivates new friendships. Another healthy side effect of working out is that it improves relationships because you are in a better mood afterwards.

  • Improving Balance and Learning How to Fall Properly.

This may seem crazy, but learning how to fall properly can protect you from serious injuries in your day to day life, as well as, on the Ninja obstacle course. How often have you heard of someone breaking a wrist or twisting an ankle because they “fell wrong.” One of the things your Ninja Gym Instructor will teach you is how to fall properly, so that you can prevent this from happening again.

Moving side to side through the obstacle course increases the strength of joints. This helps prevent injured ankles and knees which will help when playing other sports outside of the gym.

  • Pushing your limits.

Ninja gyms help your body not to get too accustomed to any one movement by mixing up activities and challenging your entire body and mind. It keeps your body from just going through memorized motions and getting lazy.
