Whether you’re already an experienced athlete or just starting a fitness program, Adrenaline Monkey has classes designed for all fitness levels. Our classes range from the familiar to the exotic with everything in between. The only prerequisite is a curious spirit and an ounce of adventure.

Group fitness classes are $12 per class or FREE for Members

Not ready for a membership commitment? That’s okay, our punch passes are a great way to save money without committing to a membership. Each pass includes 10 pre-paid visits which can be used anytime. Punch Passes expire after one year so you have plenty of time to spend those visits.

Adult fitness Classes:

manic monkey bootcamp

Class Days: Mondays
Time: 6PM – 6:50PM
Instructor: Andy Isaacs

This hardcore plyometric class will teach you the skills necessary to conquer any obstacle. The structure will vary between a group fitness class and actual course instruction. We’ll use med balls, weights, BOSUs and more to help you master any obstacle that comes your way! The class will be challenging but all fitness levels are welcome.

Class Days: Tuesdays
Time: 9AM – 10AM
Instructor: Sandy Conochan

Ninja Boot Camp is not your everyday boot camp class! Sandy will get your day started off right with this high-intensity workout that will focus on building strength and muscular endurance while improving your cardiovascular capacity. We will utilize a wide variety of equipment (including kettlebells, battle ropes, TRX, resistance bands, medicine balls, etc.) and we will also spend time on the ninja courses! This type of class allows us to implement a large variety of movements into our workouts, resulting in a full body challenge, without the boredom that comes with performing repetitive exercises. H.I.I.T., Tabata, and Circuits are just a few formats that we will explore. Every exercise is modifiable so all fitness levels are welcome.

bodyweight shock boot camp

Class Days: Thursdays 6:30 – 7:30 pm

This class focuses on versatility of functional movements, mixing anaerobics with aerobics. Constant change of energies drives high calorie burn. This class pushes mental fitness as much as physical. Incorporates aspects of HIIT training, plyometrics, isometric exercises and obstacles training. Cardio is included in every class. Expect to have corrections on techniques of the basic squat, lunge, burpee, push-ups and pull-ups.


warrior flow yoga

Class Days: Saturdays 8:30 – 9:30 am 
Instructor: Sabah Bhat

Because even Adrenaline Monkeys need to breathe! This class will be an active vinyasa class with one part energetic flow, one part dynamic stretching, and one part restorative/meditative yoga. Class will be suitable for all fitness levels and all body types. Start your weekend off right with some movement and breath work to center your Saturday. 

The class benefits WomenSafe, which provides emergency shelter and services to victims of domestic violence in the Cleveland area. 

cubed core conditioning

Class Days: Saturdays 8 am, 9 am, 10 am, 11 am
Instructor: Matt Levy, Fitness Cubed

Fitness Cubed offers big results through small group training. This 45-minute whole body workout incorporates elements of gymnastics, barbell work, kettlebells, conditioning, and puts focus on each area of your body to tone your muscles and burn away fat.

Are you a weekend warrior? Do you have an upcoming mud runner or ninja obstacle race? Do you watch the wee warriors with envy as they tackle obstacles with joy and without worry? Have you wondered what you could do on those Ninja obstacles? It is time to take a chance, be in the moment and  free your inner warrior. 

This class is designed to teach both novice warriors the technique needed to conquer all of the obstacles you see on TV! Like any sport; strength is only half the battle; with effective instruction on the correct technique, you can master the sport of ninja. If you still are not convinced, after each class we will reward the funniest fail with a copper mugged cocktail!

Cost: $20 per class or $175 punch pass (10 classes).

wee warrior fitness Classes:

Class Days: Mondays, 6-7 pm
Instructor: Mark Hawald

4-6 (beginner level): 30 minutes of instruction, 30 minutes of free play
7-9 (intermediate level): 30 minutes of free play, 30 minutes of instruction

This class is intended to develop athleticism in young children that will lead to future success in any sport. Speed and agility, body awareness, the ability to lead and work as team, as well as elements of strength and toughness will be emphasized in this class.

Cost: $10 Drop-In (per class)

Adrenaline Monkey Instructors

Andy Isaacs

Andy is an A.C.E certified Personal Trainer with 12 years of experience in individual, small group, and class instruction. His high-energy personality and motivating style are infectious with everyone he comes in contact with. Andy’s entry into the world of obstacle course racing started with his first Tough Mudder is 2012. Since then, he and the Kardiac Kids have participated in numerous Tough Mudders and other OCRs. He is an avid weight lifter, has run 12 marathons and plays in several rec sports leagues. Andy is a firm believer in practicing what he preaches and will never turn down a challenge!

Sandy Conochan

Sandy is a certified Personal Trainer and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. She also works part time as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years and coached both recreational and competitive teams for 5 years. Her current obsession is obstacle course racing and similar competitions both local and nationwide. Sandy loves to run, rock climb, bike, and lift.

mark hawald

Mark is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA. He is the current head wrestling coach at John Carroll University and has achieved several honors in coaching including NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year. As an athlete, he was an NCAA Division III All-American wrestler. He plans to use his coaching and competitive philosophy to train the next generation of athletes.

leo lyons

Leo Lyons, aka “Lyon Ninja,” has been coaching ninja warrior for three years. Growing up with seven siblings has prepared him very well for working with hundreds of kids during that time! He trains seriously to compete on ANW and is a regular competitor in national leagues. Leo is in his second year of college and hopes to pursue a full-time career as a personal trainer and coach. He prides himself on bringing a mixture of fun and intensity to workouts and helping his students be the best that they can be. Whether that means physical progress or confidence development, Leo holds the individual development of his students as his number one priority. In his free time, Leo can be found playing volleyball, guitar, spending time with his family, or training for his next ninja competition.

sabah bhat

Sabah discovered yoga in 2011, and has been an avid practitioner ever since. She did her teacher training with Abide Yoga in 2018. She also has her black belt in Kenpo Karate, and has trained in Muay Thai and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. She also has dabbled in a few different styles of dance including Swing, Salsa and Belly. She has been doing obstacle course races since 2015.  Sabah is also an attorney and a Coast Guard veteran, and so knows how important it is to stay fit and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
